SKIN CONSULTATIONS

If you’re unsure which treatment is right for your skin, we recommend starting with an advanced skin analysis and consultation.

Using advanced imaging technology, we assess what’s happening both on the surface of your skin and below it. This allows us to evaluate hydration, texture, tone, elasticity, congestion patterns, pigment, and early changes that aren’t visible in regular lighting.

During your visit, you’ll review your images and results directly with one of our licensed providers.

You can use this information to guide your home skincare routine, track progress over time, or decide whether in-office treatments make sense for your goals.

FAQ

That’s completely normal.

We walk you through each step and adjust pressure, intensity, and product choice based on your comfort level. You’re allowed to ask questions. You’re allowed to say something feels uncomfortable.

Your treatment will be performed by our licensed advanced esthetician, Mandy, who has extensive training in corrective skincare and a reputation for making even first-time clients feel at ease. She’s calm, attentive, and genuinely invested in your skin’s long-term health. Many of our patients say they were nervous walking in and completely relaxed within minutes of being in her care.

The goal is progress without overwhelming your skin or your nervous system. We promise you're in the best hands.

Most facials have minimal to no downtime. You may experience:

• Mild redness
• Temporary sensitivity
• Slight flaking after exfoliation

More intensive treatments like resurfacing peels will have specific aftercare instructions.

You don’t have to. But if you want meaningful results, your home routine matters.

In-clinic treatments account for a fraction of your skin’s life. What you apply daily has more impact long term. We recommend products based on what your skin needs.

If your current routine is working well, we’ll say that. If it’s sabotaging you, we’ll say that too.

Immediately after a facial, most people notice smoother texture, improved hydration, and brighter tone.

Long-term improvements require consistency and home care. A single facial won’t correct years of sun damage or chronic acne. If someone expects a miracle in one session, we reset expectations early.

We prefer honest progress over exaggerated promises.

Yes. Skin is skin.

Men often deal with ingrown hairs, congestion, larger pores, and irritation from shaving. Targeted facials can significantly improve skin health and texture.

Often, yes.

Facials pair well with microneedling, light chemical peels, LED therapy, and certain injectable treatments. That said, timing matters. Some treatments should not be done on the same day.

We plan combination treatments strategically. Layering care should enhance results, not stress the skin.

To reduce irritation:

• Avoid retinoids for 3–5 days prior

• Avoid waxing or aggressive exfoliation for 5–7 days

• Avoid excessive sun exposure

•Let us know about any recent laser or injectable treatments

If you’re unsure, ask. Over-treating your skin at home before coming in does not help your results.

Yes, and often you should.

Professional extractions, proper exfoliation, and barrier support can help reduce inflammation and prevent long-term scarring. We approach acne strategically. It’s not about scrubbing harder. It’s about controlling oil production, reducing bacteria, calming inflammation, and protecting the skin barrier.

For teens and adults, the protocol may look different. Hormonal acne is treated differently than congestion from poor product choices.

Yes, with the right approach.

Not all exfoliation is aggressive. We tailor the intensity based on your skin barrier, history, and triggers. For rosacea or reactive skin, we focus on calming inflammation, strengthening the barrier, and avoiding unnecessary stimulation.

You don’t need to figure that out alone.

We assess your skin in person, review your current routine, talk through your goals, and choose a treatment that makes sense for where your skin is right now. Skin changes with stress, hormones, seasons, and age. Your treatment should change with it.

If you’re unsure, booking a consultation or selecting a “Signature” style facial is usually a safe starting point.

Most people benefit from facials every 4–6 weeks depending on skin goals.

Many facials are pregnancy-safe, but certain ingredients are avoided. Always inform your provider.
